The Pearl Sequin Wrap Dress arrived in a damaged, black Ofuure box and the dress was poorly wrapped in the box. The dress itself is what I’d describe as a fixer-upper because tailoring will be required. The top of the dress (chest area) drops way too low and the slit is too high. So, I’m planning to go to a seamstress. The dress also doesn’t offer enough support. There isn’t a button inside of the dress, for instance. So, if the dress were to accidentally get unwrapped, then you’d be exposed. The string to wrap the dress had two loose threads, but I’m able to cut it. It’s also a little confusing to figure out how to properly wrap the dress at first. I wish there were a video demoing how to wrap the dress on Ofuure’s website.
I feel like I was shipped the last dress in stock that had been previously returned, honestly. The presentation was not there. It’s a bit disappointing overall because this dress is an investment piece and I’ll have to spend more money on a seamstress’ services. The sequins and color are absolutely beautiful though.
