Stunning but runs big and is a bit see through

I wore this to a wedding and got SO MANY compliments!!!! I absolutely love it and would buy more! However, it was difficult to purchase as it went out of stock quickly, and though I measured myself several times over several weeks, and I fell into the right sizing for XXL, the dress is massively big on me- several inches too big, in the chest waist and shoulders. I’ll have to get it tailored. It is also see through if you stand in the sun, which is probably due to the material but I was surprised and disappointed by this, given how expensive it is. I don’t want to have to wear a slip underneath and I’m not sure how I would given the unique neckline. As long as I wear it at night it’s fine but at a daytime or outdoor function I would have to consider what to do. Overall, I would still buy it again and am considering buying other products, but the return policy and my troubles with sizing make me a little hesitant to jump into those Black Friday sales too too quickly!
